Of his period with The Tymes, George says; “The were interesting formative years, but life goes on and I have been feeling restless for some time when old friends from the Prestige organisation approached me with a view to recording again”. The result of that well-timed connection is Georges first solo album “Shades”. Commenting on the title George says; “every song on the album has a different character and I have taken a different approach to each one”. “Shades” is indeed an album of tremendous musical diversity, encompassing Soul, Semi-Classical, Semi-Jazz, Easy Listening and Rock ‘n’ Roll.
